Who we are
The Canadian Machinery & Vibration Association (CMVA) is a national, not-for-profit association dedicated to advancing excellence in our field through two complementary pillars: ISO-accredited certification programs that recognize professional competence, and a membership community that connects, supports and strengthens reliability professionals.
Our fields of interest span machinery dynamics and all aspects of condition monitoring and predictive maintenance of machinery — especially vibration monitoring and analysis.

Advance condition monitoring and predictive maintenance through education, conferences and technical exchange.

Foster the development of technical knowledge and recognize professional competence through certification.
Accreditation
CMVA is accredited by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) to ISO/IEC 17024 for vibration analysis certification at Categories I, II and III — making it Canada’s sole SCC-accredited body for these credentials.
